Kerry Hallihan has a graphic and elegant approach to photography. Her work evokes strength and empowerment, yet her images are intimate and sensual. Kerry studied photojournalism, whilst rowing competitively at Boston University.
Inspired by her early mornings on the water, she became fascinated with light and it's changes as it rose over the water. Intrigued by fashion, she decided to pursue fashion photography by working for both Steven Meisel and Steven Klein. Working with Klein allowed Kerry to further explore light and refine her lighting techniques, for which she is known.
After assisting, Kerry moved to London to pursue her own vision. Her photography first appeared in Arena Homme Plus, i-D, and The Face.
